Trevelin, known for its stunning mountain landscapes and outdoor activities like fly fishing, hiking, and climbing, now offers a new experience for nature and horse lovers. A new horseback riding service has been launched at “Fris贸n Barock Patagonia,” allowing visitors to enjoy horseback rides in a unique natural setting.

This new venture features a striking breed of horse from the Netherlands, the Friesian Barock. These horses are known for their impressive size, nobility, docility, gentleness, strength, and majestic elegance. Some can weigh up to a ton, making them an irresistible attraction for equine enthusiasts.

The project is led by Mercedes Sinigaglia and Hern谩n Sandoval, who relocated from Buenos Aires to embrace a new lifestyle in Trevelin, bringing with them this highly valued breed of horse known for its beauty and vigor. The establishment is strategically located on National Route 259, near the Trevelin viewpoint, offering visitors spectacular views of the mountains and valley, perfect for an unforgettable horseback riding experience.

With this new addition, Trevelin now has five horseback riding service providers. Notable among them are Pein Mawiza in Sierra Colorada, Apus in Los Cipreses, Casa Blanca in Aldea Escolar, and El Descanso in the “Wilson area,” each offering unique and personalized experiences for tourists looking to explore the region’s natural beauty.

In addition to horseback riding, Trevelin continues to establish itself as a preferred destination for outdoor activities, with a steady growth in hiking, climbing, and fly fishing. The town attracts visitors from all over the world who seek to enjoy nature and adventure in this privileged setting.
